My name is Jason Porter, I live in
Turner Maine. I'm a Civil War reenactor. I recently on my
vacation took a day and visited the local cemeteries and I thought you
might be interested to know that
Lieut. Col. George W. Howard
was buried in Centerville Cemetery, Turner Maine. His grave does
have a flag and marker, and his head stone is in good shape.
Thought you might be interested in that bit of information.
