According to Esther Troutman Lamborn, Jim Troutman and Family along with Kenny Wire accompanied G.W. and Elizabeth Totten to California in approximately 1925 or 1926. Esther attended kindergarten in CA. Her brother Edgar died there. The Jim Troutman's returned to Iowa following the death of Edgar.
