Both families (Crain and Johnson) lived close to Franklin, Ohio, at one time. He was a German and weighed about 250 pounds. He was a hatter and his wife a milliner in Dayton. This information compiled by Jennie June Christy furnished by her Mother, Sarah Caroline Johnson Christy.

58. Henry (Resky) DILBONE was born 3 Jul 1786 in Berks Co., PA. He died 20 Aug 1813 in Springcreek Twp., Miami Co., OH. Henry married Barbara MILLHOUSE on 1805 in Lancaster Co., PA. [Parents]
Henry and Barbara Millhouse Dilbone came to Ohio in 1807, settled in Springcreek Twp., where they were living when attacked by an Indian, in Aug. 1813, which resulted in their deaths. A "Mill-stone" marker is erected at their grave site. Beer's "History of Miami County" credits them with being the second settlers in Springcreek township, where they built their cabin home on th bank of Spring Creek.
Buried along US Route 36, 1 1/2 miles west of Fletcher, OH. 6 miles East of Piqua. See marker.
