Of Aargau orgin to the Palatinate, Alsace (BA 47). Valentine Hunsicker (1700-1771), 1717 to Montgomery County, settled in Skippack; families in Pennsylvania, Illinois, Ohio (ME II:844-845; MC 169-170), 1. Swiss form: Hunzinger; in Cts. Aargau Bern (Schwarzhausen, Wynau, Thun), and Luzern (HBLS IV:324). 2. Elizabeth Hartman, and six children, named Huntseker, on the Pennsylvania Merchant, September 10, 1731 (PGP 1:43, 44). Also, another reference, but did not document the source. Sept. 21, 1732, 72 Palantines and families, 188 people, Pink Plaisance, by Mr. John Paret from Rotterdam, Cowes, Johannes Hunsiner. |
