I was fascinated to find a Nuckolls site on the Internet. I am a
Tennessee descendent of Dr. Garrett Sandidge Nuckolls, born in Jan. 1844.
He died at Huntsville, AL in 1871. His wife was Mary Jordan, who was
born March 18, 1844 in Murfreesboro, TN and died June 28, 1914 in
Murfreesboro.

Their daughter, Florence Nuckolls, was my great grandmother. She was
born May 7, 1870 in Huntsville and died in Nashville on Jan. 14 or 15,
1944. She married Dr. William Caldwell Bilbro, born July 4, 1862, in
Milton, TN, on Nov. 2, 1892. They had one child, my grandfather, Dr.
William C. Bilbro, Jr, who was born Aug. 20, 1894 in Murfreesboro, and
died Aug. 20, 1954 in Nashville.  He married Katherine Smith Upton, born
Dec. 25, 1891, on Feb. 2, 1914. They had five children, one of whom was
my mother, Katherine Bilbro Jones, born May 19, 1922. I was born July 5,
1962, and I have two children.

So, there are several Tennessee Nuckolls that you may not have record
of!
