The James Oliver Nuckolls who was a younger brother to your g-grandfather, Dr. John Milton Nuckolls was actually James Oliver Nuckolls, Sr.  He was my g-grandfather.   My grandfather was James Oliver Nuckolls, Jr.   He was a younger son of James O. Sr.  He married Ruth Lay - they had two children, my father James William Nuckolls (he goes by J.W.) and Louise G. Nuckolls.  Aunt Louise married Frank Lay and they had one child, Nancy.  Louise died when I was pretty young. 
My dad is still living, so you may not have him listed.  He and my mom had five children, of which I am number 4.  We are all still living and married with children.   I can give you more specifics on any of the above if you want it.
