Samuel
Overton Nuckolls buried his father and mother... so
his ties to Virginia were gone. He helped settle his mother's estate then moved to
Georgia, found his bride then moved on to Huntsville AL where he would live his life.
Samuel was a wealthy Planter who settled in Meridan Co., Birmingham AL. He had
a wonderful family. He was a prominent man in his community.
Samuel would bury his wife and a few years later marry again.
I don't know what became of her. His children lived in Huntsville AL until
his death then some of them moved on the Bossier Parish LA. I have read some
letter's that his children have written and they seemed to be a good bunch of
people.
