NOTICE
The administrator of this site, Al Henderson, will be "offline" for all of 2004 and, quite possibly, 2005. What this means to you is that there will not likely be any updates posted online during this time nor will I be reachable via e-mail.
I will, nonetheless, continue to do research and am always open to being contacted by other researchers. You can write to me at:

Miscellaneous

This is a page of links to a variety of materials that I have been wanting to post online but haven't, yet, figured out how to group or categorise. Some of these items might, at a later date, be moved to another page under a classification of their own ... others will, likely, always remain "miscellaneous". <grin>

For now, they will appear, here, in the order that I post them - in other words, in no particular order.

If you have any materials that you've been wanting to submit for posting but didn't know where they might fit in ... this is the place! Feel free to send 'em along.

Newspaper article, entitled "A Look At Old Lurgan", from the Lurgan Mail, 1963. The DYNES family is mentioned as being among the English "transplants" of the late 1600s.
[Lurgan is in Co. Armagh, Ireland - just across the border from Co. Down.]

Excerpts from some of the correspondance both to and from Al Henderson. This is intended as "food for thought" for all the Dynes Detectives out there. You might find rumours, registrations, ruminations ... whatever! It might get you thinking in new directions for your research ... or just thinking that you wasted five minutes of browsing time (*grin*). Eventually, this collection will be divided and categorised ... but, for now, it's just one long page. So, if you have a little extra time, check out  The Mail Bag
