ALLSHOUSE  -   The Allshouse's are descended from Henry Allshouse of Easton, Northampton Co., PA. I am descended from his son Henry Allshouse II, a fifer in the Revolutionary War that settled in Hempfield Twp., Westmoreland Co. ca 1789. He had a total of thirteen children.

BAKER  -   The Baker's are from Blairsville, Indiana Co., PA.

BEE  -   The Bee's are from Armstrong and Indiana Co., PA. A distant cousin Debbie (Bee) Campbell has been researching the Bee family. Please visit her site:  Bee Family

BLACK  -   The Black's are descended from John James Black of Unity Twp., Westmoreland Co. John died in Lochry's defeat in 1781. I am descended from his son David that settled in Conemaugh Twp., Indiana Co.

BLYSTONE   -   The Blystone's are from Indiana and Armstrong Co., PA. Visit the site of a distant cousin:   Ed and Linda's Family

DAUGHERTY  -   The Daugherty's are from the Apollo, PA area. I have not been able to research this line yet.

HAWK  -   The Hawk line that I belong to is the George Hawk line of Franklin Twp. Westmoreland Co., PA. I highly recommend the book "Early German Hawk Families", by Kenneth Hawk Slaker. Please also take a look at the sight of a distant Hawk cousin:   Web Family Cards by Sandra Ragan

MCGAUGHEY  -   The McGaughey's are descended from William and Margaret McGaughey that came from Antrim Co. Ireland and settled in York Co. ca 1750. William's grandson Thomas moved to Indiana Co. and married Margaret Sally Marshall, daughter of William Marshall. I highly recommend the book "Descendants of William and Margaret McGaughey" by Polly Rachel McGaughey Sutton.

MILLER  -   The Miller's are from Indiana Co., PA. This is the line of my Great great grandmother Nancy Miller, wife of Thomas Rankin McGaughey, and is yet to be researched.

PAINTER  -   The Painter's are from the Apollo area in Armstrong Co., PA. This is the line of my Great great grandmother Dorothy Painter, wife of John Daugherty, and is yet to be researched.

PATTERSON  -   The Patterson's are from Apollo, Armstrong Co., PA. This is the line of my Great grandmother Anna Mary Patterson, wife of Arthur Ringer Allshouse.

RINGER  -   The Ringer's are from Kiskimenitas Twp, Armstrong Co., PA. This is the line of my Great great grandmother Olive Margaret Ringer, wife of Simon B. Allshouse of South Bend, PA. I am in the early stages of research on this line.

SNYDER  -   The Snyder's are from the Vandergrift area in Westmoreland Co., PA. I am descended from John T. Snyder that came to Vandergrift, PA in the mid 1850's and was a blacksmith. Family tradition is that he was from Geistown, Cambria Co., PA prior to that. This line is yet to be researched.

VARNER  -   The Varner family that I am descended from is believed to be descended from the Nicholas Varner family of Cambria Co. My line is descended from Samuel T. Varner and his son John Peter Varner. This line is from Indiana and Amstrong Co., PA.
