DEHART, John L., age 52, V. 57, #38, 8 NOV 1928.
Son of the late James R. DEHART. John died Fayette Memorial Hospital, Connersville, Indiana Tuesday, 6 NOV 1928 from a fractured leg caused by a kick from a horse. Married twice, first wife, Miss Daisy TAYLOR who died about ten years ago. Two sons, Harry of Anderson, IN and Cecil of San Francisco and three grandchildren who survived. Married second wife, Thelma FOSTER BURNS. Mrs. BURNS of Connersville, IN, formerly of Gates, this county. She together with two stepsons, Harry and Floyd BURNS survive. One brother and three sisters survive: Mr. Herman DEHART of Creamery, WV, Miss Naomi DEHART near Union, Miss Lizzie DEHART near Union, Mrs. Lucy KESSINGER of Huntington, WV. Mr. DeHart, baptised at Mt. Prospect Church on the Knobs in early boyhood. Funeral services 4th Street, Nazarene Church, Connersville, IN. Burial Fairview Cemetery.
