January, 2002. ********************************************************************** ********************************************************************** Max William DeHart, born 06/22/1919, passed away January 15,2002 at his home in Liberty, TX after a couragous two year battle with cancer. He was the son of Dr. Walter Clark Dehart and Nellie Garfield Tilton. Born in Cambridge Ohio, he was a professional truck driver for Roadway Express until his retirement in 1981. He was preceeded in death by two brothers, Van and Rex. He leaves his widow, Stella Grubbs DeHart, one son, Christopher Willliam DeHart, one daughter,Judith DeHart O'Brien, one grandson, Max Edward O'Brien, and one great-grandchild,Connor J. O'Brien. He was a veteran of World War II, having fought in the Phillipines, in the Army-Air Corps.
