Subject: Lemuel Herrin's children

Lemuel Herrin's will, filed for probate in 1852, names only the two sons, Gresham and William M., who were designated as Executors, and directed that all his property be divided equally among his children following his wife's (Mary Hendon)death. I understand that Mrs. Mary Frank Dunn had found in Panola County Deed records that the following were the children of Lemuel: Gresham, Tabitha, Amanda Melvina, Elizabeth, William M., Kerenhappuch, and Emaline. If there are other children they are not known to me. I am a descendant through Kerenhappuch's marriage to Peter Winder.

Karenhappuch married Peter Mcfadden Christopher WINDER [16827] [MRIN: 6018], son of Christopher Figen Stofel WINDER [16783] and Genette McFADDEN [16963], on 10 Nov 1846 in Panola Co, TX.¹ (Peter Mcfadden Christopher WINDER [16827] was born on 19 May 1826 in Blount Co, TN, died on 1 Jan 1906 in Nacogdoches Co, TX and was buried in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Nacogdoches Co, TX.)
