They are both [Sarah Winder and brother Daniel Winder--AW] mentioned on page 359 of "1882 History of LaGrange County, Indiana : from the original History of LaGrange and Noble county, historical and biographical" regarding Sarah WINDER's son Peter PROUGH, the only son she had with first husband George PROUGH who died in 1808 Fairfield County, Ohio. Daniel was listed as the uncle Peter PROUGH lived with before moving to Indiana. Daniel WINDER appears to have died in Fairfield County, Ohio as there may be an estate record I would like to order, as well as for Sarah and her second husband Nicholas Sidener. They are on my to do list, but I haven't done it yet. There are a number of WINTER families there also. I found these items for Fairfield County, Ohio but haven't had time to follow up on ordering any estates or whatever.
