The Story of Hillside Cemetery
by Freda Peterson

The exhaustive Two-Volume "Story of Hillside Cemetery" by Freda Petterson details histories of many of the people
who reside in the cemetery.
The Maxwells and Jesse S. Baily are chronicled and are reproduced here by permission of the author.

While Jesse S. Baily, D.D.S. and his wife Pauline both
lived in Silverton, they are buried elsewhere
(Jesse in Spiceland, IN, and Pauline in Wilmington, OH).
