!Obituary SERVICES TODAY FOR HAROLD MEAD
Services were conducted this afternoon at Northam - Jones chapel for Harold Chancey Mead, 61, 641 W. Main, in Weiser, Idaho, who died Sunday at Memorial Hospital. Burial followed at Hillcrest cemetery.
Mr. Mead was born Nov. 28 1896, in Vernon county, MO. and as a young man was engaged in farming and cattle raising with his father Clinton Mead, in that area.
Mr. Mead was married to Thelma Jane Baker 28 Nov 1925. The couple and three children moved to the Weiser area in 1939 where they had resided since.
He had been employed for he past 14 years by the Portland Cement company of Lime, Oregon.
Survivors include; the widow, Mrs. Thelma Mead; two daughters, Mrs. Phyllis Jennings of Weiser, and Mrs. Carol Kirk of Moscow; one son, Harold Dayton Mead of Boise; two brothers, M. R. Mead of LaSalle, Colorado, and A. D. Mead of Idaho Falls; three sisters, Mrs. Amie Brown, of Greeley, Colorado, Mrs. Lottie Brown of Idaho Falls and Miss Gail Mead of Los Angeles and five grand children.
