!BURIAL: Originally were buried on their farm just south of Platte City. Quoting from information provided by Evelyn Smith of Lima Ohio, "Platte City has now reached the Christy farm and it was necessary to move the remains of those buried in the family cemetery to the Platte City Cemetery. A house now stands where the small cemetery was for more than one hundred years."
