[1201] Matt was born in Brighton, Wisconsin February 22, 1971 and came to Ashton with his parents Rheinhold and Anna Streit Zensen. On November 14, 1907 he married Maggie Leinen. Maggie was the daughter of Nicholas and Anna Poss Leinen and was orn February 12 1870 at Brighton, Wisconsin. She came to Ashton in 1889 and had a dress making shop for many years.
[1202] Matt farmed for many years and after moving to town he did masonry work until his retirement.
[1203] They had one daughter, Seraphine. She married John McCarty of Sanborn.
[1204] Maggie passed away December 3 1950 and Matt passed away March 30, 1958.
