[2609] Joseph Seivert was the son of Mathias and Margaret (Meyers) Seivert. He was born on a farm northwest of Ashton. He worked many years on farms around Ashton and farmed and later moved to Sheldon. He died at Sheldon in 1964 and is buried in St. Patrick Cemetery at Sheldon.
