[2596] Susan Wallrich was born in a log cabin in Brighton, Wisconsin on May 1, 1865. She was the youngest of fourteen children. Susan came to Osceola County with her father Mathias WALRICH when she was 18 years old, shortly after her mother's death. They came to visit her three brothers and two sisters who had come to live in Osceola County. They liked Iowa and decided to stay.
