[2572] Frank was the ninth child of Nicholas and Anna Johannes, born September 1 1878 at Ashton, Iowa and died May 23, 1923. He married Emma Bernemann September 7, 1889. Emma was born March 9, 1880 in Roselle, Iowa aand died November 19, 1950.
[2573] To this union nine children were born all at Asjton and they attended St. Joseph School. Alvin was born November 7, 1900 and married Helen Schoo, and later Mary Seive of Arcadia, Iowa. Alvin passed away December 24, 1961. Alma was born May 7, 1904 and passed away August 13, 1968. Rosalie was born August 4, 1906 and married joe Thom of Ashton June 26, 1936. Rosalie passed away March 28, 1973. Sybella was born August 19, 1908 and married Francis Tiffany, August 1945. Sybella passed away April 20, 1975. Josephine was born March 28, 1911 and married Frank Johanning march 22, 1934. Cornelia better known as Connie was born August 8, 1912 and married Mark Bausch on May 3, 1941. Leonard was born Jy 1, 1914, he married gewn Meiwendorf on June 7 1948. Ethel was born Februaary 23, 1921.
