[1044] Mrs. Van Lanen Dies at Age 89
[1045] Mrs. Lena Van Lanen, 89, long-time resident of Bay Settlement, died suddenly this morning after suffering a heart atack at the home of her son, Harry Van Lanen, Bay Settlement.
[1046] She was born Lena van Veghel and Married Bernard Van Lanen 65 years ago. He died 21 years ago and a daughter, Mrs. Anton Peters, 14 years ago.
[1047] Survivors include three sons, Joseph and Pat, Green Bay, and Harry Bay Settlement; four daughters, Mrs. William (Bardenah) Herman, Bay Settlement; Mrs. Jacob (Mary) Craanen and Mrs. Frank (Elizabeth) Mande, Green Bay; and Mrs. Adelbert (Ann) Morke, Milwaukee; 22 grand- children; 49 great-grandchildren and a brother Martin Van Veghel, Green Bay.
[1048] Friends may call at Malcore Funeral Home after 6:30 tonight. The Rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight; at 8 p.m. Friday by the Rev. T. G. Fox and at 8:30 by the Ladies Altar Society of Holy Cross Church. Funeral Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Cross Church, Bay Settlement with burial in the church cemetery.
