[2997] Mrs. Marchand Dies at Loy Home
[2998] Mrs. Mary Marchand, 79, died Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Loy, 1489 Cedar street, where she had been making her home. Born in the Town of Scott, she was married 56 ears ago to John Van Veghel. He died in 1908, and in 1912 she was married to August Marchand. Mrs. Marchand died in 1931.
[2999] A resident of Bay Settlement for many years, Mrs. Marchand came to live in Green Bay 26 years ago. She was a member of the Altar Society of SS. Peter and Paul church.
[3000] The body is at the Dupont-Malcore Funeral home where the Rev Peter Skell will say the rosary at 8 o'clock this evening. He will offer the requim mass at 9 o'clock Tuesday, morning in SS. Peter and Paul church. Burial will be in Holy Cross cemetery at Bay Settlement.
[3001] Survivors are three sons, Alvin Van Veghel, New Frankin, Martin, Green Bay, and Joseph, Milwaukee; a daughter, Mrs. martin Heersaker, Green Bay; two brothers, Edwin Van Laanen, Minneapolis, Minn., and Frank, Green Bay, a sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Murphy, Chicago; eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
