[1174] After Tony (Anthony) Streit married, Mike spent a few years with his brother Nick at Ghent, Minnesota. Later he stayed with Matt Walrich during Matt's illness and helped with the farm work. He then came to live with Tony and Mary Streit till his death. His later years he was a big help for Mary when the children were small. He helped her with the garden work, did the dishes and many odd jobs. The nieces and nephews really missed Uncle Mike after his death.
