[1182] Tony B. Streit, son of John and Anna Marie Streit, was born at Ashton April 7, 1896. He married Mary Staudacher February 6, 1918, the daughter of the Matt Staudachers. She was born October 1 1895, at Ashton. They lived on his father's farm until they retired in 1954. He was supervisor of Osceola County for seven years. He died March 7, 1960. They had nine children, six boys and three girls, all baptized in Our Lady Of Perpetual Help Church and Graduated from St. Joseph's School.
[1183] Marian, born January 29, 1919, married Bernie Sheforgen July 19, 1941, and lives in Racine, Wisconsin. They have five children, Tom, Joan, Dick, Judy and Jerry and one grandchild.
[1184] Donald, born August 19, 1922, married Margaret Murray of Emmetsburg, June 4, 1947. They have four children, Patricia, Michael, Dennis and Daniel (twins) and two grandchildren. They live in Omaha, Nebraska.
[1185] Robert, born Aug 8, 1923, married Barbara Sheltens at River Grove, Illinios, July 12, 1947. They have eight children, David, Robert, Joseph, Rose Marie, Peter, Philip (twins), Julie and Andrew. They live in Stacyville, Iowa and have six grandchildren.
[1186] Anthony, born January 21, 1925, married Mary Ann Frederick of Ashton January 3, 1952. They have four children, Jeffrey, Bradley, Susan and Laura and have two grandchildren. They live in Sibley, Iowa.
[1187] Leonard, born March 10, 1926, married Luella McGrath of Sheldon, Iowa May 18, 1949. They had fivechildren, Gary, Craig, Mary Kay, John and Nancy. They have two grandchildren. They live on the John Streit homestead farm.
[1188] Paul was born September 10, 1927, and married Shirley Gettier of Melvin June 10, 1952. They have four children, Sam, Sally, Tim and Tom (twins) and one grandchild. They now live in Torrence, California, but farmed the Streit farm from 1954 to 1964.
[1189] James, born April 11, 1929, married Phyllis Thiele of Ashton, April 18 1950. Jim is a rural mail carrier at Spirit Lake. They have one son, Steve and two granddaughters.
[1190] Kathleen, born February 22, 1931, married Norbert Richter of Ashton April 22, 1952. They have four children, Dianne, Jim, Ronnie and Donna. They have one grandson and live in Sheldon.
[1191] Betty Jane, born June 25, 1935, married Frank DeWall of South Siouz City January 26, 1963. They have two children, Laura and Marc and live in Omaha, Nebraska.
[1192] Tony and Mary have 35 living grandchildren, three sets of twin grandsons, ans 17 great-grandchildren.
