[2607] Matthias C. Seivert was born November 28, 1856, the son of Mathias Seivert and Suzanna Leeuck Seivert at Kenosha, Wiscsonsin. On February 19, 1889 he was married to Margaret Meyers duaghter of Hilarius and Anna M. (Raetz) Meyers at Kenosha Wisconsin. Margaret Meyers was born March 1, 1867 at kenosha. Together they moved to Ashton, Iowa in March of the same year and started farming. Margaret Meyers Seivert died at the early age of 37 years on December 22, 1904 and Matthias Seivert died at the early age of 56 years in 1912. They were the parents of seven children; Anna who married Alphonse Strouth; Joseph who never married; Louis C. who married Elizabeth Johannes; Anthony who never married; Susan who married Conrad Strouth; Marie who married Joseph Keps and Clara who married Nicholas Strouth.
