[3120] Jules DUCA came to America from Belgium with his family. They moved to Red River, Wisconsin, where he grew up and became a blacksmith and farmer. Their daughter mry Ann, was born in Amberg, Wisconsin, on Mar 30m 1903. In January 1908, he moved his wife and four children (two sons and two daughters) to Nathan, Michigan, where he had purchased 160 acres of land. Very little of the land had been cleared and there were no buildings. Jule moved his family into a small log house and, in the spring, he started a large frame house. His descendants are proud to claim that this family home is still standing almost 100 years later.
