[2568] John Johannes, son of Nicholas and Anna Johannes, and Mary Wallrich, daughter of Nicholas and Barbara Wallrich, were married in Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church, Ashton. John was born in 1861 and died in 1941. Mary was born in 1876 and passed away in 1949. John and Mary are both buried in the Catholic Cemetery in Ashton.
[2569] They opened their home to roomers and boarders. John was a butcher in the community until his death. Both were faithful members of the church.
[2570] John and Mary were the parents of two children; Nicholas and Leona (Bachrach). They had five grandchildren.
