[2549] Peter Johannes was born January 9, 1855 at Union Grove, Wisconsin, Josephine Johannes was born March 19, 1860 at Brighton, Wisconsin. They came from Wisconsin the year of 1885 with their two daughters Julia and Mayme. They settled down on a farm north of town after which they were blessed with three more children: Jake, Frances and Elizabeth.
[2550] Mr. and Mrs Johannes and their family all belonged to Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church. All their children attended St. Joseph School.
[2551] They farmed on the same place until they ritered in 1916 and then moved to Ashton.
[2552] Peter died April 30, 1927 and Josephine passed away December 23, 1928.
