Mr. Balza resided in Green Bay most of his life before moving to Townsend one year ago. In 1974 he married Mayvis (Glimme) Brandenberg.
Survivors are his wife; one stepson, Kevin Ketelboeter, Baraboo; three brothers, Henry, Goldie and three stepbrothers; three half brothers; two grandchildren.
He was preceeded in death by two daughters, Janice and Pat, and one brother.
Friends may call at Suminski Funeral Home, Wabeno, from 4 to 9 p.m.
