Ann Marie Josephe Balza
Hubert Joseph DUCA (Ducat) was born on May 4th, 1868 in Lougueville, Brabant, Belgium, the son of Jean Martin DUCAT and Marie Therese BOUVIN. At the age of three Hubert and his family immigrated and settled in Humboldt Wisconsin. At the age of 18 here learned the blacksmith trade.
Mary (Anne Marie) Josephe BALZA was born on July 17th, 1870 just outside of Liege in Sart-Walhain, Brabant, Belgium the second daughter of Antoine BALZA and Marie Antoinette FLAHAUT. Mary and her family immigrated from Belgium in August of 1880 (see the link above for the details).
Hubert and mary were married in the town of Appleton, Outagamie county, Wisconsin on April 18th, 1892. Two years after their marriage they moved to Amberg, Marinette county, Wisconsin.
Together they raised nine children as follows:
Hubert Duca passed away on September 30th, 1934 in the State general Hospital in Madison, WI. (obituary)
Mary Duca died on October 25th, 1957 in Iron Mountain, Dickinson, MI (obituary)
