We will attempt to develop pages here detailing the role(s) that BLACKADDER family members had in the shaping our world. The following list will grow with time, but here is a starting point:
- the "infamous" Bass Rock, the fortress island located offshore from North Berwick, East Lothian, Scotland, was associated with two of our BLACKADDERs:
- Held captive there from 1681 until his death ~1685 was the Covenantor, the Reverend John BLACKADER;
- shortly thereafter an (as yet) unknown BLACKITER was involved with the 1691-4 seige of the Bass.
