| The following items were located by Don Page. They were in the Gifts & Deposits (GD) at the Scottish Record Office. [1774] GD 69/121 1696 Oct 19 Disposition by Mr. William Blakader, doctor of medicine, to Marion Hunter, his spouse, in liferent and to her heirs and Adam Blakader, merchant in Edinburgh, his brother, in fee of a house at the head of the West Bow, Edinburgh, following on a contract with Robert Milne of Belfarge, dated 28 June 1694; and Disposition to Marion Hunter and to Adam Blakader, Captain John Blakader and Elizabeth Blackader, spouse of Mr James Young, writer in Edinburgh, brothers and sisters of said Mr William Blackader, of his household goods and various sums arising from Marion Hunter's former marriage to deceased James Boyd, merchant in Edinburgh. GD 69/132 1691 Feb 6 Extract marriage contract between Mr William Blackader, doctor of medicine and Marion Hunter, daughter of Mr James Hunter of Muirhouse, advocate and relict of James Boyd, merchant burgess of Edinburgh.
