• Note: This fact was the only note made. Reference needs to be fully checked for context of entry re Zalmon Fairchild.
• -->Neither the marriage year nor the wife's name has been confirmed by other sources as yet.
• Speculation that they may belong in the TG line is based partly on Zalmon Fairchild's 1825 deed & on the mention of a "Zalmon" [last name not given] as well as a "Polly" in 1820 family letter. Given below is a mixed collection of data which does not clarify the apparent ages [based on a marriage in "1787"] but provides a basis for continued research.
  . There probably was a younger "Zalmon" because the Chenango Co., NY deed index indicates transactions to 1874.

• If it proves to be that the older Zalmon did not have a wife Mary [Polly] but a younger Zalmon did have one by that name, keep in mind that John Blanchard [TG1-411-2] seems to have had an unidentified daughter born 1790/1800.
