James Blaney Hitchcock and Alma C. Kreuger

James B. Hitchcock

James Blaney3 Hitchcock (Anastasia2 Blaney, James D.1) was born January 1894 in Buffalo. He was baptized at Holy Angels Church; his uncle Joseph Blaney and aunt Eliza Blaney McGowan served as sponsors. After his parents' death at the turn of the century, he was raised by his Aunt Agnes Blaney Miller in Rochester. He began working there as stenographer in 1913. During WWI, he served in the military in 1918. At the time of his death in 1946, he was working as an accountant for the War Department in the U.S. Engineers Office in Buffalo. He died 19 March at the age of 52 and is buried in Mount Hope Cemetery.

He married Alma C. Kreuger on 20 September 1919 in Rochester. Alma, born 4 April 1894 in New York, was the daughter of John Kreuger and Anna Jess. She died 3 September 1990 in Naples, NY and is buried with her husband in Mount Hope Cemetery.

James Blaney Hitchcock and Alma C. Kreuger had the following child:
