Robert Carlisle Hardy
Robert Carlisle4 Hardy, (Alicia B3. Carlisle, Susan2 Blaney, James D.1) was born 8 November 1904 in Buffalo, NY. He graduated Dartmouth College in the 1920's and then attended Columbia Law School.
About 1928 he married Alice Jane Perdew. Their engagement was announced in the New York Times (23 Oct 1927. The article noted that Alice was the daughter of Floyd Henry Perdew, a resident of New York who had recently moved to Chicago. Alice attended the Barnard School for Girls and received her undergraduate degree at Smith College. The marriage ended in divorce in the 1950's. Robert then married Hilda [?], and the two were apparently living in Sarasota Springs, Florida when he died on 11 April 1980. He was employed as a stockbrocker, according to his death certificate.
