HENRY, JAMES, JOSEPH, PATRICK posted by Dennis Nicklaus on Tuesday, December 16, 1997

Fr. JOSEPH LANE, priest in AZ. I'm searching for any info about a catholic priest, Father Joseph LANE, who was in Yarnell, AZ in the 1960s (and maybe/probably earlier, too.) He had a brother JAMES. I believe Fr. LANE was a descendent (grandchild) of PATRICK and Mary (SHANNON) LANE of Clinton and Pottawatamie Counties, Iowa. Patrick (1814-1904) and Mary (1832 - 1904) had two sons: JAMES (1857-1936) and PATRICK HENRY (1860-?) who are thought to have been living in either Council Bluffs, IA, Clinton, IA, or St. Joseph, MO in 1904 (I don't know which son was where).
Any help or suggestions appreciated.

ANNUEL, LYDIA, WILLIAM posted by Donald M. Ricks on Wednesday, December 31, 1997

Does anyone know anything about WILLIAM LANE, of Guilford Co., N.C.? LYDIA LANE married Thomas RICKS there about 1798, and I haven't been able to locate a family genealogy or researcher for that Lane family. I have some additional informatuion in my book about the Lanes in Preble Co., Ohio. Lydia's daughter Lydia RICKS married ANNUEL LANE, and they had several children.

I believe (don't like to use that much) that Lydia (Sr.) was in some way connected with William LANE. Thomas RICKS witnessed a LANE-PHILLIPS marriage there after 1800. Since the Quakers disowned Thomas, there wasn't much info on him.
