• Grew up on a farm 9 miles West of Carstairs, Alberta, Canada.

• Attended Jackson School in Grade 1 which was a one room school house for Grades 1 to 9.

• Attended Hugh Sutherland School in Carstairs, Alberta for Grades 2 to 11.

• Senior High School Matriculation (1968 Concordia High School in Edmonton, Alberta.

• Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering with Distinction (1972 University of Alberta, Edmonton, Alberta).

• Registered as a Professional Engineer with Professional Engineers Ontario.

• Designed Nuclear Fuel Handling Robotics for General Electric Canada in Peterborough, Ontario (1972-1979).

• Designed Agricultural Equipment for John Deere at Welland, Ontario (1979-1998).

• I have two children, Christina and Brian.

• I have been doing some work on compiling my family tree. Here's my Genealogy page.

• I drive a Mazda MX-3 Precidia. It's lots of fun!

• My new hobby is Geocaching.
