NIELSEN _ Martha Adele On Sunday, February 23, 2003 our angel got her wings. Martha was born on October 29, 1929 in Southey, SK.
She loved to give. She gave to her church, she gave to the Germans from Russia Society, she gave to her family and friends. Often, she even gave to strangers. She did all of it right to the end.
Grateful for the time they had with her, she leaves her husband John; daughter Ellen; son Dale (Eileen); and four grandchildren, Bryce, Maren, Shania and Austin; as well as her sisters, Dorothy, Lydia and Ella; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at Foothills Lutheran Church, 3104 - 34 Avenue N.W., in Calgary on Friday, February 28 at 10:30 a.m., with Interment to follow at Queen's Park Cemetery. Please send memorial gifts to the Alzheimer Society of your choice.
