Bryce Henderson Stevens

Born 20 April 1951, in South Bend, Indiana, the second
son of Quentin Carl and Lorella Jean (Henderson) Stevens. I graduated
from Indiana University in 1975, with a B.A. in Art, and headed
for warmer weather, living as a street artist in New Orleans.
After a couple years of that, I was hired by the Internal Revenue
Service as a Field Revenue Officer, stationed in Olympia, Washington.
I left IRS in 1979, and began teaching piano, eventually building
up a successful business with a studio at South Sound Music ,
which I maintained until 1989. That year, I returned to graduate
school, at Tennessee Technological Institute, and obtained my
M.A. and Ed.S. in Curriculum and Instruction, with a Reading Specialty.
I am currently employed by the Anderson County School System in
beautiful Eastern Tennessee.
This photo was taken in 1994, by Bonnie Finholt Cuddie,
a good friend and award winning photographer in Olympia, Washington.
