Samantha Jane Day was born
in Ohio, 1847, and married David Ensminger. Beside her is Stanely
Griffith, who was married to Samantha's granddaughter Agnes Vanosdol,
and Audra Vanosdol, who married Ralph Stevens. Samantha died in
1920; this photograph, found among Audra Vanosdol's belongings,
was probably taken about 1917 or 1918.
