James Franklin Burchett Jr. was the son of Dr. James F. Burchett, Sr.  He was born in Valdosta, Georgia in 1913. He held an Engineering Degree from Emory University.  James Jr. was married to Nina Caroline Johnson. James died in Feb 1964. He is buried in Valdosta Georgia next to his mother Nettie Lee Burchett who's maiden surname was Corns. [Some people have misspelled her last name as Coms. But it is C o r n s. The letters seem to run together on screen sometimes.]
