63. Arnold⁵ Dearring was born in Schwarzenberg, Hesse, Germany 9 Dec 1830.⁽¹⁶⁰⁾ Arnold died 22 Feb 1890 in Circleville, Pickaway Co, OH, at 59 years of age.

He married Catherine Teter in Pickaway Co., OH, Dec 21, 1861.⁽¹⁶¹⁾ Arnold's last name was probably spelled differently than Dearring. Most likely it was a German spelling, such as Duering. I have found records listing it as Daring, which was probably how it sounded. I would like to find info on a census record I have for 1870, Pickaway Co., OH to see how these folks relate to Arnold and Catherine. It lists Thomas Tecter/Teeter age 41, next is Catharine, age 27. Then a Hessan Daring, age 40, next is Ella Daring, age 5, Aaron, age 3 and Lute, age 1/12, then a Susan Teeter, age 27. The occupation for Susan Teeter is listed as "Easy Virtue"; interesting . . . Is this Aaron, the same Aaron I find living in the Arnold Dearring/Daring household in 1880 (birth year is the same).

Arnold Dearring and Catherine Teter had the following children:

64 i. Rachel⁴ Dearring was born in Pickaway Co., OH ABT 1866. She married William Ankrum.

65 ii. Aaron Dearring was born in Pickaway Co., OH ABT 1867. He married Marion "Mary" Burton.

66 iii. Louis Dearring was born in Pickaway Co., OH 24 Jul 1870.⁽¹⁶²⁾ He married Elizabeth "Lizzie" Thomas ABT 1890.⁽¹⁶³⁾

+ 28 iv. John "Tody" H. Dearring was born 28 Dec 1873.
