Could you seek the surname RUSSELL? Am looking for a Charles RUSSELL and family members. Unfortunately I do not have any dates for him. If needed, I will need to research further.

The closest name I found to Elsa or Elsie is ELLA BENSON b 1889 so that could not be. Found a Louise BENSON in Woodlawn Cemetery, Norwalk Township burial cards. BENSON, Louise bur, 29 Jun 1901. Afraid that is not much help, but that is the only thing close. Quite a few BENSON's listed in index though.
I am looking for the burial place of Aaron ORDWAY (ORDIWAY, ORDAWAY, OROWAY, etc) and his wife, Susannah JOHNSON ORDWAY. I know Susannah died before 1850 and Aaron sometime between 1850-1860. Aaron is last found in the Lorain County census of 1850. I wondered if you might look in your cemetery inscription book to see what ORDWAYs are there.
Nancy Paramore Look Up Results - I didn't find an Aaron or a Susannah. There are 14 ORDWAY's listed. Most buried in the Collins Cemetery, Townsend Township. I notice the ones I checked are more recent dates.

On the US Gen Web,Huron County,Ohio. there is a query posted for a Lewis R. SCOTT. Query was posted by Richard and Cassie Langley Brown. Problem I had was the E-mail address they posted, must have been changed as my mail came back. I have in my possesion about 5 generations of that family and only yesterday realized it and have had it for quite some time as I never toss anything that has a name connected to my own family. and now I may be connected to the same family as they are. Appreciate any help you can offer.
You've helped in the past and I thought you might know something about a John TODD who solomized a marriage of my ancestors in 1847 in Huron Co. OH. Do you know if he was affiliated with a particular church?
In the online cemetery index is a Margaret E. MOORE, page 346, and a Margaret G. MOORE, page 238. Is there any further information on either of these Margaret MOOREs?

I'm looking for further information on the EITLE family. Through the cemetery inscription program I was able to find the listing for the following EITLE family members which I believe to belong to my family line. EITLE- Charles, 733; Clarence C, 367; DORIS, 367; Durward D., 378; Fredrica D. HUMMEL, 733; Helen G, 367; Helen Gertrude, 367; Ida Fern, 367; J. Pearl, 378; James Roger, 367; John William, 378; Mary Ida LEONARD, 378; Mildred, 378; Sylvia M., 367; Walter C., 367; and Willis W., 378. REVERT- Arthur Carl, 378; Mildred EITLE, 378. The two main individuals of interest are John William EITLE, p. 378, and Mary Ida LEONARD-EITLE, p. 378. I believe that John William EITLE should reflect the death date of May 07, 1922. I don't have a death date for Mary Ida and would believe that it may be reflected on her head stone. I would also believe that the other EITLEs and REVERTs listed on page 378 would be children of John and Mary.
I've had a break through and thought I needed to share it with Huron and Seneca Co. Through the Snyder Co. Pa. lookups I received abstracts of several wills which prove the following. I used your Cementery Inscription Book at the local library and need some help. I'm checking my mother's family history, her maiden name was BAUER/BOWER.
Jim Lewis Look Up Results - I have BOWER/BAUER ancestors in Huron Co OH. My GGGrandmother was Clarissa BOWERS, her father was Silas BAUER/BOWERS, and she had a brother also named Silas as well as other siblings whose names have escaped me so far. The BOWERS in my family ended when Clarissa married Rufus LOVE in Huron Co in 1821. Rufus and Clarissa were in Huron thru the 1840 census, when they disappeared from the face of the earth! I suspect there may be a bunch of folks between your mother and my Clarissa, if there is a connection at all. That's the part that's called "research." I would start by subscribing to the BAUER and BOWERS mailing lists. Try these- http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/surname/b/bauer.html http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/surname/b/bower.html http://lists.rootsweb.com/index/surname/b/bowers.html You may just find a couple of cousins.
In 1888 Mary Ann DAGGETT LOOMIS died in Coronado, Sedgwick Co., KS. The funeral records state that her body was shipped back to Ohio to be buried. The mystery is why and where? Her husband, Ephraim Harrison LOOMIS had been buried in Chase Co., Kansas in 1859. It is unknown where her father Orlean DAGGETT was buried, but it seems he died in Kansas as did her mother in Badger Creek, Breckenridge Co., Kansas and we have no reason to believe that they are not buried there also. The only connection I can find for Mary Ann DAGGETT LOOMIS in Ohio - is as follows-- She was born in Four Corners, Huron Co., OH - 1819. Her Father Orlean DAGGETT married her mother Elizabeth RIMA (we think her natural mother) in Wood Co., OH. 1922. Mary Ann DAGGETT LOOMIS had lived in Kansas from before 1860 till her death in 1888. She did not migrate to Kansas from Ohio, but from Wisconsin. Any ideas as to why Mary Ann DAGGETT LOOMIS would have been buried in Ohio and or where?
Nancy Paramore Lookup Results-- I looked in the Huron County, Ohio Cemetery Inscriptions by the Huron County Chapter of the OGS. I did not find Mary Ann DAGGETT LOOMIS There is one DAGGETT listed- Alice M. page 671 There are 20 LOOMIS listings, none that match the names you sent. There is an index to the cemetery book at the Huron web page.

Doing Research on Benjamin SPICER Index # 483 from Cemetery page. Would like to find out his death date. We have a George B.SPICER born in Washington Co. NY, moved to Illinois and died in 1868/69. He was a civil war vet. His wife is buried here in Illinois, LaSalle County, town of Seneca. We can not find George anywhere. Was wondering if it was possible that his middle name was Benjamin and he dropped the George and if he was sent back to Ohio to be buried with his family.
Any listings for the following DOOSEs- Henry, died between 1881 and 1885; Leonard (Leonhard), died Oct. 1963; Clarence, died 4/29/1997? They are listed in the order- father, son, and grandson. These would be father, brother, nephew to my grandmother, Sophia DOOSE KOCH.
