Donor Recognition Program
DONOR RECOGNITION PROGRAM
|
In addition to many persons working behind the scenes on the many
projects of the Corson / Colson
Family History Association there have been a number of monetary
donations which have been quietly made to support some of the
accomplishments.
The projects are important because they either benefit members
and
others directly or have the potential of doing so at a later date.
Researchers rarely know just what they are going to find, but they are
delighted when they get results both because it was fun to conduct the
research and because they are pleased to share their findings.
Some results are possible only when they can be funded in whole or
part. Funded efforts haven't been big in the CCFHA past, but as funds
are made available we find we can multiply our effectiveness and
benefits.
Contributions of members and friends are greatly appreciated when they
provide funding for CCFHA programs through current gifts or deferred
giving. In an effort to more formally recognize those who contribute
the CCFHA Board of Trustees has adopted these terms to recognize and
honor donors:
In appreciation of gifting and its importance,
| Supporter |
$10 and
above |
| Sustainer |
$25
and above |
| Contributor
|
$50 and above |
| Benefactor |
$100
and above |
These are not large amounts by conventional standards, but they can
make a huge difference in what the CCFHA is able to achieve. We are
openly inviting further contributions and larger contributions than in
the past. At the same time, we continue to encourage gifts of any
amount large or small.
.....By
working together, we can.
