Hello and welcome to the Bush Family Geneaolgy web site. This site's focus is on the Bush and related families. Most of these families are pioneer settlers of Clearfield and Centre Co.'s, PA. I have been searching and expanding my familytree for about three years. My search started as a boyscout to earn the genealogy merit-badge unfortunately that was the end of it. Several years later I decided to pick up where I left off and it has become an obsession. I had a lot of trouble at first finding new information to add but in the last two years things have really taken off. I owe most of the information I have collected to others who I have met both on-line and off. There are far to many of them to list here, maybe in the future I will put up a contact list by surname so others will have an easier time finding each other. For now I have my database on-line and searchable for those of you with an interest in the same surnames or trying to find thier families in the central Pennsylvania area.

All of the surnames listed are my paternal lines. Due to the size of my moms family and the fact that she started on all of this when I was going to school. She is doing all of the research for my maternal side of the family.

The vast majority of this page deals with Clearfield and Centre Counties both located in the heart of Pennsylvania. I am hoping this website will become a useful tool for many genealogists who may be researching in these two counties.
