Buteshire Parishes

BUTESHIRE, is an insular county in Firth of Clyde. It comprises the islands of Bute, Arran, Big Cumbray, Little Cumbray, Holy Isle, Inchmarnock, and Pladda. There are only two organized areas of habitation -- Ascog (village) and Rothesay 1800-1854 (town).
