In the name of God amen. I Angus Curry of Richmond County, being of sound and perfect mind and memory thanks be to God, do the 15th day of November in the year of our Lord 1807, make and publish this my last will and testamnet in manner following that is to say. First I give and bequeath to and I hereby make and ordain my worthy wife Christian Curry and my son William Curry all and every part of my land viz two hundred acres on each side of Mark's formmerly called Thomas Mim's bridge and cattle horses hogs and all household furniture [but] one cow that I grant and give to each of my daughters viz Sarah Douglas Mary Nicholson and Abigail McDuffie and I hereby make and ordain my son William Curry Executor of this my last will and testament. In wishes whereof I the said Angus Curry have to this my last will and testament set my hand and seal the day and year above written.

July term 1819. To the worshipful Court, the petition of Mrs. Douglas most humbly herewith that your Petitioner's husband Angus Douglas departed his life in the month of July 1819 without making provision for her & her family by Will or otherwise, that Mr. Peter H. Cole at this term prayed for and obtained letters of Administration on the Estate of her said deceased husband. Your Petitioner prays that your worships appoint one Justice of the Peace and three free holders to lay off to your Petitioner & her family one year's provision out of the Estate Crop & Stock of her deceased husband agreeable to Act of Assembly & she is duty bound will ever pray...signed Sarah Douglas.
Oct term 1819. Ordered that John Macalister, Esq., James Cole, Daniel McSwain, & Thomas Turner be appointed as a committee to lay off and allot to Sarah Douglas and family one year's provision out of the Estate of her deceased husband Angus Douglas & that they report to the next Court.
Oct 25, 1819. In obedience to an order from the Court we the subscribers having met at the late dwelling house of Angus Douglas, deceased, and being duly sworn on the Gospel of God have laid off for Sarah Douglas and family one year's provision out of the Estate of her deceased husband Angus Douglas as follows (to wit) :
Ten head of hogs or what number will make
1,000 weight of Pork with 50 bushels
of corn to fatten said hogs $75.00
One good beef worth $ 15.00
One hundred and twenty bushels
of corn for bread $60.00
Sixty weight of sugar, worth $12.00
