      Born 11 Sep 1846 at Adler, Perry County, AL; Enlisted 3 Jun 1864 at Selma, AL; Private in Company K, 62nd Alabama Regiment; Captured 9 Apr 1865 and sent to Ship Island where he remained until the end of the war.

      Born 2 Oct 1843, North Perry County, AL; Enlisted in Spring of 1862 at Marion, Perry County, AL; Private in Company F, 20th Alabama Infantry; Surrendered at Spring Hill, NC and was paroled there about 5 May 1865.

      Born 15 Nov 1841, Northport, Perry County, AL; Enlisted in Apr. 1862 at Marion, Perry COunty, AL; Private in Company H, 20th Alabama Infantry; Captured and paroled 2 Apr 1865 at Macon, GA.

He further notes - "...under the command of Capt. Porter King early in the war...."  footnote (p192, #64):--- "From the scrapbook, of Mrs. James A. Smith, Judson Library. This list seems to have been made many years after the war. Many of those listed as dead died long after the war."
