| DESCRIPTION: | Rng 8E, Twp 17N, Sct 15, Qtr SE: SE 1/2 of E 1/2 [SW 1/4] "...on the 8th day of Oct at the October Term of the Henry Common Pleas Court in the year 1855 Conrod J. Coon Guardian of Nancy Coon an Idiot filed in said Court his petition duly verified Setting forth among other things that said Nancy was owner in fee [of the land]...that the same was sustaining unavoidable waste, that a better investment of the proceeds thereof Could be made and that said Nancy was indebted without other means to pay & prayed a sale of said premises at private sale Whereupon said Court Caused an appraisment thereof to be duly made and said Guard having filed his additional bond to the acceptance of [the court] the said Court ordered adjudged & decreed that said Guard make sale of said premises at private sale upon the Terms and conditions following viz = one third of the purchase money to be paid in hand, the residue in two Equal payments at Nine & Twelve months from the day of sale...." Sale took place on 16 April 1857. |
