He and Maxine ? were divorced in 1945 ("While Ken was with Patton's tanks during WWII, she sold everything they had. They were divorced after the war." - Bonnie Lee Hollinshead). He married Ena Labrouse on 25 Jun 1948 in Coeur d'Alene, Kootenai County, Idaho. He died in May 1997 in Lake Oswega, Idaho, at age 80. He was buried in Oswega Veterans Cemetery, Oswega, Idaho.

Lillie Willis-Thorne was 65 years, 2 months & 14 days of age at her death. I did'nt know her but her kids loved her dearly. She was religious and strict. My dad, Voyle, always quoted her as saying 'Don't ever look back.' She did not. So I am doing that for her." - P. V. Thorne.²⁴⁷

My Dad's Sister Lillian Thorne-Jones lived about 2 blocks from where I was raised at 1309 E Burlington Blvd. My Aunt Lillian was a very sweet woman, She in fact , cut my hair until She scalped me at Abt 8 yrs of age. She also always cut my Dad's hair BUT She never scalped him.²⁵⁶ She graduated on 29 May 1934 in North Platte, Nebraska, from High School.²⁵⁷

·        iv. Geraldine Mae was born on 29 Mar 1917 in Broken Bow, Custer County, Nebraska.²⁵⁸ She married N. N. Holbrook circa 1940. She was buried in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Glendale, California. She died on 29 Mar 1996 in Sylmar, California, at age 79.²⁵⁹
